Gazprom and ChelPipe discuss ongoing cooperation

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Andrey Komarov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ChelPipe, took place in St. Petersburg today.
The meeting addressed the ongoing cooperation, including supplies of large-diameter pipes for Gazprom’s strategic projects. The parties also discussed issues related to joint sci-tech efforts, namely the development of pipes for offshore projects and of new types of joints.
Background
Gazprom and ChelPipe are bound by the 2015–2020 Scientific and Technical Cooperation Program. The document defines the priority areas of collaboration in the development and production of new types of pipe products and other equipment for Gazprom.
