Myra Jean Myers of Operation Outcry to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

FLOWER MOUND, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, March 29, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Myra Jean has a story to tell--and it’s one millions of women in America can associate with. Her story is about being coerced to have an abortion in 1973, and the various physical and emotional scars that left on her; scars that lasted as much as 25 years later. She put these thoughts and experiences into sworn testimony, articles, CDs and You Tube videos, and is now one of the key spokespersons for the nationwide organization Operation Outcry.

According to Myra Jean, members of the organization are expressing a moral outcry against their pain, shame and numbness, and the major lies about abortion: that it is not killing a baby, that it is safe, and it is okay. The organization is affiliated with The Justice Foundation, whose lawyers are arguing to overturn Roe V Wade and its companion case Doe V Bolton, a legal change that almost happened in 1992. Myra Jean and her supporters stress they would never have aborted if it had been illegal.

Operation Outcry women provide Legal Declaration of Testimony for Legislatures and Amicus Briefs in defense of pro-life legislation. They also refer women to a hotline, 866-482-LIFE for abortion recovery and offer help for women being coerced into abortion, CAFA (Center Against Forced Abortion). Together, they provide education (Truth that reveals the lies of abortion) and network with health providers, school counselors, police and others that offer healing in a time of great need.

Statistics vary by age, but it can be said that one in five women have experienced the impact of abortion by age 45. Myra Jean stresses that over 65% of those women say they were coerced; by a parent, a spouse/partner, employer, etc. From guilt, shame, and blame to tubal pregnancies and infertility, it can have devastating effects on women’s health and relationships. Operation Outcry is a forum for women and families who want to put an end to this. They are mobilizing women to speak out, advocate before the government, and preserve fundamental rights.

Myra Jean suffered greatly after the pregnancy of her sixth child ended in an abortion. She felt a crushing weight and knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, “Oh, God I have murdered.” Taking responsibility freed her. She realized God understood, and had forgiven her, and she began to move forward. Her personal struggles are featured in the chapter “Oh, God, I have Murdered” of the book Broken Beyond Belief but not Beyond Faith, by John Dee Jeffries.
