New York Open Draw Ceremony To Take Place During New York Tennis Expo

WANTAGH, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, January 30, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The inaugural New York Open makes its debut on Long Island beginning with the New York Tennis Expo on Saturday, February 10 from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at NYCB Live home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and we are pleased to announce that the tournament’s draw ceremony will take place during the Expo.

At 1:00 p.m., attendees at the New York Tennis Expo will be able to witness and even take part as the match ups for the New York Open are announced. The ceremony will take place at the New York Tennis Expo Broadcast Plaza, located in the center of the Exhibitor Hall.

“We are thrilled to kick off the first annual New York Open with the New York Tennis Expo on Saturday, February 10,” said New York Open Tournament Director Josh Ripple. “The Open and Expo’s mutual goal is to create compelling, interactive content for tennis enthusiasts and afford industry leaders a unique chance to expose its products and services to as many people as possible. By integrating the ATP Tour into the Expo, we believe that exhibitors and attendees will have a rare opportunity to be the first to see how the tournament venue will look, hit on the competition courts and meet ATP Tour players. And it provides many New Yorkers the chance to reconnect with Nassau Coliseum following its $180 million renovation. A win-win for everyone.”

The Draw Ceremony will be live streamed and ATP Tour players will be present during the event. Attendees can also watch as the professional players practice on the unique black courts at NYCB LIVE as they train for the tournament, and players will also be featured panelists during the Speaking Seminars.

The exhibitor space is completely sold out and attendees and guests will be able to see and interact with a wide variety of companies and products from the tennis world and beyond.

The Activity Zone and Kids Zone will have an array of fun and exciting playing opportunities for the whole family. Attendees can actually go onto the stadium court that will be used by the pros and take part in clinics and play for points with local college programs, and there will also be two 10&Under courts for younger players, plus much, much more.

Attendees who preregister receive FREE parking on the day of the event. To do so, visit www.NewYorkTennisExpo.EventBrite.com.

The New York Tennis Expo will be the pinnacle of all things tennis on February 10, and this FREE event will have fun for the whole family as professional tennis returns to Long Island.
