FDF responds to position paper on science and innovation

Following the publishing of the "Collaboration on science and innovation: a future partnership paper" today by HM Government, FDF has issued the following press notice:
Helen Munday, Chief Scientific Officer, FDF said:
'Science and innovation is key to the competitiveness of the UK food and drink sector. It is positive that Government is being proactive in considering the needs of the research community post EU Exit, and we welcome the approach of maintaining links with the EU science community. The UK is held in high regard for its standards of science and innovation and we support all initiatives that can uphold this position.'
