VMUG Announces Tech Superstar Line-up for Three Upcoming UserCons
NASHVILLE, TN, USA, June 13, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The VMware User Group (VMUG) is excited to announce the lineup for the Kansas City, Philadelphia and BC Regional UserCons later this month. Each event will include keynote presentations by VMware and experts such as Amanda Blevins, Director of Technology, Office of the CTO and Scott Lowe, Engineering Architect. Community experts will also be on hand to keynote such as Eric Wright, Tech Evangelist, podcaster and frequent VMUG speaker.
In Kansas City, Amanda Blevins will speak about Building your Brand – Like a Blevins. She’ll take attendees on a journey through her career – the beginning, middle, and future. Amanda will share how she chooses what is next, how to get there, and key technologies to focus on for the next few years. Blevins’ presentation in Vancouver will focus on Innovation Technology. Blevins will discuss how IT is now Innovation Technology rather than Information Technology. Without IT, Digital Transformation would not be possible. Attendees will learn about how to enable Digital Transformation for their companies through four major IT Priorities – Modernize Data Centers, Integrate Public Clouds, Empower Digital Workspaces, and Transform Security.
Eric Wright’s session in Vancouver, “Terraform for VMware Administrators”, discusses how the next-generation environments are all about composable, Infrastructure-as-Code, orchestration, and automation. Using Terraform, an open source platform from HashiCorp, we can easily build, modify, and provide version and state management for our VMware infrastructure. You'll see how to get Terraform up and running and how to do some real use-case deployments to understand how to add value for your organization and yourself as an infrastructure admin and architect.
In addition to these speakers, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with vendors, sponsors, and partners in the Exhibit Hall and participate in a variety of other technical sessions from VMware and community experts!
