Gazprom Neft signs Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership with Russia’s largest software developer 1C Company

Gazprom Neft has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership in Information Technologies with Russia’s largest software developer, 1C Company. The agreement was signed in St Petersburg by Boris Nuraliev, President, 1C Company, and Konstantin Kravchenko, Head of Gazprom Neft’s IT, Automation and Telecommunications Department. The core objectives of collaboration under the agreement include joint operations directed at improving Gazprom Neft’s IT architecture and developing 1C’s product lines, as well as developing innovative proactive import substitution solutions.

Both companies have agreed to synchronise their strategic planning in IT, and to organise working groups across all areas of collaboration.

Pursuant to the Memorandum, Gazprom Neft will engage in developing industry solutions based around 1C, and work with the 1C Developer Network as a leading systems analyst in software development, as well as providing a forum and space for the implementation of IC projects utilising the new technological opportunities offered by the 1C:Enterprise CORP platform.

Konstantin Kravchenko, Head of Gazprom Neft’s IT, Automation and Telecommunications Department, commented: “This memorandum is intended to expand the basis for collaboration between our two companies. Thanks to our cooperation with one of the leading companies in the development of Russian-designed business systems, we plan to improve effectiveness in building corporate IT architectures and ensure the operational stability of Gazprom Neft’s IT systems. Together with our partners we are committed to identifying strategic areas of focus for developing innovative proactive import-substitution solutions, and to developing a joint programme up to 2025.”
