DENVER, CO, USA, March 8, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- TraceGains, the leading Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) software solution for food and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, convened a meeting of the company’s Executive Advisory Board in conjunction with the Global Food Safety Initiative’s (GFSI) annual conference in Houston last week.

The Executive Advisory Board was formed last year to influence TraceGains’ long-term product vision and to guide the company’s strategy to meet the industry’s food safety management software needs. The group is comprised of executives from ADM, AdvancePierre Foods, Bay Valley Foods-TreeHouse, Bimbo Bakeries, East Balt Bakeries, Milk Specialties Company, and T. Marzetti Company.

“Our Executive Advisory Board helps TraceGains stay ahead of regulatory changes and market trends to help solve a variety of business challenges the food and CPG industry faces,” said TraceGains CEO Gary Nowacki.

TraceGains’ Executive Advisory Board members are: Brad Brown, VP of Quality & Food Safety at ADM – Specialty Commodities Division; Bill Theis, SVP of Quality at AdvancePierre Foods; Brian Perry, SVP of Food Safety & Quality at Bay Valley Foods - a TreeHouse company; Len Heflich, VP Ford Safety, Quality, & Crisis Management at Bimbo Bakeries (retired); Mike LaBosky, VP of Global Quality Systems at East Balt Bakeries; Brian Lundquist, COO at Milk Specialties Company; and Tom McGirty, Director of Quality Assurance at T. Marzetti Company.

The annual GFSI conference is a venue that attracts the top players in the food industry, so it was only natural for TraceGains to schedule its bi-annual Executive Advisory Board meeting in conjunction with the GFSI program. Just as GFSI provides a forum for industry-driven collaboration on global food safety issues, TraceGains Executive Advisory Board is industry-driven, too. The Board members volunteer their time as an investment in continuous improvement to drive value addition for TraceGains customers and the industry at large.

Attending the Executive Advisory Board meeting from TraceGains was CEO Gary Nowacki, Chief Technology Officer A.J. Dolan, VP of Customer Success Rajan Gupta, and VP of TraceGains Network Marc Simony.
