Background

Vladimir Alfyorov was born in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in 1972. In 1994, he graduated from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Higher Maritime Engineering College, majoring in Electrical and Automated Ship Equipment.

Vladimir Alfyorov has been part of Gazprom’s team for over 13 years.

Between 2003 and 2014, he rose through the ranks from lead engineer of division for spare parts for gas compressor units at the Department for Gas Production, Drilling and Special-Purpose Equipment to chief dispatcher of the Operations and Dispatch Center at Gazokomplektimpeks (now Gazprom Komplektatsiya).

Between 2014 and 2017, he served as Deputy Director General for Supply Management at Gazprom Komplektatsiya.
