ELY, CAMBRIDGESHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM, December 13, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- IT Governance, the leading provider of information security expertise and training courses, is delighted to announce that it has become an EC-Council Accredited Training Center (ATC) to provide the instructor-led exam preparation course for the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) qualification.

The International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) is a member-based organisation that certifies individuals on a wide range of information security and e-business skills.

Alan Calder, the founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, said: “As an ATC, IT Governance provides delegates with an EC-Council trainer and experienced penetration tester to ensure delegates who attend the course acquire the practical hands-on knowledge and skills to pass the official CEH exam and support a career.”

EC-Council is the owner and developer of the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) training course, alongside other certification programmes such as the Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI), EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) and Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) certifications.

The Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) qualification is internationally recognised as the vendor-neutral credential of choice for security professionals. The qualification supports the development of a senior career as an ethical hacker or penetration tester.

The course covers a wide-range of areas, including footprinting, steganography, network scanning techniques and countermeasures, system hacking methodology, and virus analysis. Delegates get a comprehensive understanding of more than 270 commonly used attack technologies and software tools and learn how these can be used in real-life scenarios.

This fully accredited course takes place over five days. Upon course completion, delegates are required to sit the official four-hour examination, which consists of 125 multiple-choice questions and is overseen by Pearson Vue.

Delegates seeking to attend the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) training course are expected to have a minimum of two years’ IT networks and systems experience.
