GCC investing in cargo and baggage screening technologies

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, December 5, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- As one of the fastest emerging markets globally and with the expansion of ports and airports, the GCC is becoming ever more susceptible to cross-border crimes. The UAE’s geographical location and busy logistics hub has brought with it greater opportunities for illegal smuggling and trafficking activities through airports and seaports.

It is now more important than ever for customs and police authorities to deploy effective screening and detection systems to prevent cross-border crime in the GCC and beyond.
