Armed Services YMCA today announced the five service members who will be honored at the 10th Annual Angels of Battlefield Awards Gala, Nov. 4.

SPRINGFIELD, VIRGINIA, UNITED STATES, October 30, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Springfield, Va. – The Armed Services YMCA today announced the names of the five service members who will be honored at the 10th Annual Angels of the Battlefield Awards Gala, Nov. 4 at the Ritz Carlton Pentagon City, Alexandria, Va., where Gen. Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will be the guest speaker. The event sponsor is MARCOA Media.

Annually, the Armed Services YMCA seeks out a shining example from each branch of the military to be recognized for their efforts. Each branch selects the individual from their service that best exemplifies the courage, compassion, and care provided by our military heroes to our military heroes under the most extreme conditions and in the face of danger.

U.S. Army Honoree

U.S. Marine Corps Honoree

U.S. Navy Honoree
HN Elgie O. McCoy, Jr., USN, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. His hometown is East Brunswick, N.J.

U.S. Air Force Honoree
TSgt Cody C. Inman, USAF, Pararescuemen, 212th Rescue Squadron, 176th Operations Group, 176th Wing, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. His hometown is Eagle River, Alaska

U.S. Coast Guard Honoree
