IT Governance has issued over 250 Cyber Essentials certificates through its CyberComply portal
Alan Calder, the founder and chief executive officer of IT Governance, said: “We are delighted to have helped over 250 organisations achieve certification to the Cyber Essentials scheme since the launch of our online CyberComply platform nearly two years ago.”
The CyberComply portal is a unique online service that helps organisations take control of their Cyber Essentials certification. The platform lets organisations of any size achieve CREST-accredited Cyber Essentials certification using a ‘do-it-yourself’ approach.
The platform provides organisations with support and guidance to define the scope for certification and complete the self-assessment questionnaire. It also provides the functionality to schedule external scans, receive feedback on results and apply for certification. Moreover, the platform allows organisations to view the progress of their supply chain towards the Cyber Essentials certification.
“While other providers of Cyber Essentials offer certification based on the number of employees and the organisation’s size, IT Governance takes a proactive approach to reducing our clients’ compliance costs by complementing the cyber security skills they have. Most of our clients have achieved certification to the Cyber Essentials for only £300,” said Alan Calder.
In addition to the services available through the CyberComply portal, IT Governance’s Cyber Essentials packaged solutions help organisations to reduce costs by supplementing their in-house skills and providing the level of support they need to achieve certification.
