The computer system is used to program the autopilot system and helps the pilots to interact with the GPS and the gyros, and transfers the data to the actuator, which then moves the aircraft. Autopilot systems enhance the aircraft control capability of a pilot and increase the cockpit efficiency by placing the aircraft in an auto-mode. It also reduces the overall operating costs.
