Russian manufacturers producing equipment for Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery’s deep refining complex
Two of Russia’s most significant machine-building enterprises — Volgogradneftemash JSC and Izhorskiye Zavodi — have produced high-technology equipment for the new deep refining complex at the Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery. Supervised by Gazprom Neft specialists, these domestic plants have produced the greater part of the most important sections of the future facility, with Vogogradneftemash, by special order of Gazprom Neft, being responsible for producing a 50-metre-plus, 5.7-metre-diameter fractionating column (with a total weight of around 300 tonnes), a steam distillation tower, a
Izhorskiye Zavodi (St Petersburg), part of the OMZ Group, was responsible for producing four hydro-cracking reactors and two high-pressure separators (with a total weight of more than 1,400 tonnes). All components have been made from anti-corrosive chrome-molybdenum vanadium steel and meet or exceed the quality of foreign equivalents.
Freight from the Voglogradneftemash and Izhorskiye Zavodi plants is currently being consolidated at the St Petersburg sea port for onward transportation to Omsk.
