Israel continues arresting Palestinian Civilians

RAFAH, GAZA, PALESTINE, June 26, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Israeli occupation forces early Sunday morning detained 14 Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
PPS said Israeli forces detained four Palestinians from Bethlehem’s towns of al-Khader and Nahalin. They were identified as Bassam N. al-Balbool, Nassar M. Nassar, Faris al-Nis, and Noor-Eddin Shakarneh.
In Tubas, Israeli soldiers detained three locals who were identified as Rabe’ Shaf’e, Hossam Abu Zaineh, and Hussain Daraghmeh.
Meanwhile, local 'Eid al-Rimawi was detained in the Ramallah area.
In Jenin’s village of Kufr Qoud to the southwest, forces detained an ex-detainee who was identified as Sa’ed Abu Obaid, 36. Undercover special units, baked by large military forces, reportedly raided and wreaked havoc into Obaid’s home, along with his brother’s home. They further interrogated the family members.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police detained four worshippers, including two South-African Muslim men, who barricaded themselves inside al-Aqsa mosque’s compound in Jerusalem.
At least 330 Palestinians have been detained since the Muslim holy month of Ramadan that began on June 6.
A statement released on Saturday by the Palestine Prisoners' Center for Studies, said that the detentions reflected Israel’s disregard for the sanctity of the holiday.
Spokesperson for the center Riyad al-Ashqar said that Israeli forces detained hundreds, including women, children, the elderly, people suffering from various illnesses.
