The celebration will take place on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from: 11:30AM- 1:30PM at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion located at 135 North Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

On this day, the LA Conservation Corps will continue in the rich tradition of awarding Russell Kantor Scholarships to deserving Corpsmembers. To date the Corps has awarded over $2 million in scholarships. Since 1986, LA Conservation Corps has transformed thousands of lives and enhanced communities by educating, training and employing at-risk young adults through their participation in conservation projects across Los Angeles. Empowering youth through academics and experiential learning, we’ve planted 90,00 trees, built more than 50 community gardens among other milestones. Join us as we celebrate our 30th anniversary. We look forward to forging new and innovative partnerships that will allow us to offer second chances to our local youth and serve the community for another 30 years!
