A. General Requirements:
1. Natural born citizen of the United States.
2. Resident of the United States for at least 14 years prior to election.
3. At least 35 years of age on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017.

B. Timeframe:
The Vice-Presidential Candidate position is desired to be named as immediately as possible with the absolute latest deadline being no later than Monday, April 8, 2016. This deadline has changed from an original announcement on the search for a Vice-Presidential Candidate given the urgency to meet deadlines to access the Texas ballot with its paperwork requirements including petition signatures, designation of electors and an affidavit of candidacy fast approaching on May 9th.

C. Campaign Funding
Upon selection of candidacy the Vice-Presidential Candidate may be asked to contribute to remaining campaign costs. This could include contribution to costs of press releases, marketing and public relations, and possible ballot access fee costs in the 50 states and District of Columbia. In total, the Vice-Presidential Candidate will contribute a maximum of $3,000 of personal funding to the campaign.

D. Political Views:
The Vice-Presidential Candidate is preferred to be Independent of political parties though during the campaign process may be a member of a political party, including either of the 2 major parties. In this case, the Vice-Presidential Candidate must make a commitment to become Independent upon election. The Candidate is preferred to be moderate on the political spectrum. The Candidate does not have to agree with the Presidential Candidate exactly on each of the issues, but be in general consensus on the majority and be willing to work together to find common ground as teammates.

E. Campaign Assignments:
1. Ballot Access: The Vice-Presidential Candidate will work hand in hand with the Presidential Candidate to continue the process of meeting the requirements to access the ballot in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. This will require administrative paper work coordinating with both the state election offices and communicating with citizens and voters.
2. Debate: The Vice-Presidential Candidate must plan to participate in the traditionally scheduled 1 Vice-Presidential debate in an election year. As same as the Presidential candidate travel costs for the debate(s) is expected to be funded by the Defense Travel System, or another equivalent government or business travel program. If funding is unavailable the Vice-Presidential candidate will be expected to personally fund costs of travel to the debate, not previously budgeted for in the expected campaign investments. The candidate will spend the amount of time needed to successfully prepare for the debate.

F. Compensation:
Upon election the compensation for the Vice-President will remain on forecasted 1% annual increases as was determined in an economic program established in Spring 2014 of the campaign. Additional compensation including official entertainment as received by the present incumbent will be eliminated. Official entertainment for the Vice-President will be provided on discretion within his or her own salary. Other additional compensation including an expense account and official travel will also be reduced as compensated to current and past Vice-Presidents. With these planned reductions the candidate must be committed to the Presidential Candidate's policy of accepting the minimum value compensation to the people. The annual base compensation schedule for the Vice-President as programmed:

2017: $235,337
2018: $237,690
2019: $240,067
2020: $242,468

G. Housing and Office:
Upon election the Vice-President may choose to live in the Vice-President's House on board the Naval Observatory in Northwest Washington D.C. or at a residence of his or her choice anywhere in the United States. If the Vice-Presidential Candidate chooses the second option he or she will be responsible for their own housing costs.

The Vice-Presidential Candidate may use the traditional office inside the West Wing of the White House, work out of the Vice-Presidential House at the Naval Observatory or at his or her chosen residency anywhere in the United States. If necessary, the President can make the decision to not allow the Vice-President to work out of the White House for security reasons.

H. Physical Condition:
The Vice-Presidential Candidate is expected to remain at a high level of physical condition. Upon election the Vice-President will automatically be commissioned as a member of the U.S. Military, if not already. A high level of condition is a prerequisite in the military and also shows camaraderie with uniformed members of the service.

I. Assignments:
Upon election the Vice-Presidential Candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to act and participate in chosen assignments and assignments agreed upon collaborating with the President. This is in addition to the traditional Vice Presidential Role of presiding over the Senate and casting the deciding vote in case of a tie in the Senate.
