Dr Damien Short, Director of the HRC, University of London to speak on Human Rights Implications of Shale Gas Production at the Shale Gas Environmental Summit

LONDON, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, July 31, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Earlier this month Coalition of Human Rights Lawyers and Academics gave an opportunity to the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal (PPT) to hold a session on hydraulic fracturing and other unconventional fossil fuel extraction process.

Fracking has taken place around the world in spite of serious public opposition and with large numbers of people claiming that their human rights have been ignored by the public who are meant to represent the public. The PPT aims to examine such allegations in an even handed and judicial way.
