CBE for former FDF Director General Melanie Leech
Melanie Leech, former Director General of the Food and Drink Federation has received a CBE for services to the food industry in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Melanie said:
“I am delighted to receive the award of CBE. I had nine fantastic years
leading the Food and Drink Federation and this award really recognises the hard
work
of everyone at FDF, to provide a powerful and effective voice for food and
drink
manufacturing, and the achievements of its members in consistently delivering
high quality, safe and nutritious food to UK consumers whilst playing a leading
role in tackling societal challenges such as reducing our environmental
footprint
and childhood obesity.”
