Roy Lee Jarmon is best known as an author and spoken word artist whose work has been derived from his experiences as a Vietnam Veteran, his bout with PTSD and the tragic loss of his 1st wife. Currently, he has two books in print which are: Poetry by Simon Volume 1: Family Foundations, and Poetry By Simon Volume 2: Circle of Life – The Vershelle Cato Experience. Roy has had the pleasure to work with Ms. Laura Boss on March of 2015. She is a national award- winning poet and they have performed at the Barron's Art Center in Woodbridge NJ.

Roy was seen performing live on behalf of the Plainfield Housing Authority for the Black History Celebration with the iconic Dick Gregory on April 11, 2015 at Plainfield High School in Plainfield, NJ. He will also be doing a reading for Poetry Month on April 18th, 2015 at the Plainfield Public Library in Plainfield NJ, as well as signing copies of his second book at the Jesus Book and Gift Store on May 16th, 2015 at 11:00 am - 3:30 pm in Green Brook Township, NJ.
