ISTANBUL, MECIDIYEKOY, TURKEY, January 26, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- First ever Holocaust documentary by a Muslim author

Adnan Oktar, known for his joint efforts with leading political and religious figures from Israel to develop friendly ties between Jews and the Muslim world, released his documentary on the Holocaust in the Turkish and English languages.
The Shame of the 20th Century: The Holocaust

The impressive movie starts with the historical background of this dark page of history, and explains the extent of the horrors the Jewish people had to suffer at the hands of the Nazis. Shedding light on some of the forgotten details of those nightmarish days, the documentary also corrects some misconceptions in the Arab-Islamic world as to what really happened. Backed by historical data and archival photos, the piece also delves into the twisted train of thought of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and concludes with a final note on how anti-Semitism still painfully lingers across the globe.
The movie is especially thought-provoking and impressive in that it is the first of its kind: A strong intellectual voice from the Muslim world condemning the Holocaust.
The producers plan to release the documentary in more languages – including Arabic – in the coming weeks.
