G-Energy Team wins Cross-country Rally World Cup

Russia’s G-Energy Team, driving aMini All4 Racing and supported bythe Gazprom Neft G-Energy premium oils brand, was the winner ofthis year’s Cross-country Rally World Cup, with awinning crew ofVladimir Vasilyev and Konstantin Zhiltsov.

The final, tenth stage ofthe marathon, Baja Portalegre, took place inPortugal, with sportsmen negotiating 418 kilometres athigh speed, over aperiod oftwo days. The registered competitors list included 95crews, including 12pilots from the FIA priority drivers’ list.

Throughout the Cross-country Rally World Cup the G-Energy Team repeatedly demonstrated the best results across all races, thanks towhich the Russian sportsmen found themselves, immediately before the start ofthe final stage, ahead oftheir nearest competitors by20points— acumulative advantage which allowed the team toachieve alandslide victory.
