The Center for Media, Data and Society has analysed a decade’s worth of information from 30 countries to determine the true extent of European data breaches.

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, November 4, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Center for Media, Data and Society (CMDS) has analysed a decade’s worth of information from 30 countries to determine the true extent of European data breaches. Its newly released study found that over the last ten years, 227 million records were lost in Europe-specific breaches and that for every 100 European Internet users, 56 records were compromised.
