Operation American Patriot (OAP) serves our honored Veterans by fortifying existing resources and providing assistance in matters of housing, finance, jobs, clinical, chaplaincy and mentoring. Operation American Patriot is a volunteer-run, non-profit 501c3 advocacy group that assists our military personnel and veterans. OAP is headquartered in Arizona; the organization partners with local and regional businesses and nonprofits to offer an array of support and assistance programs catering to Veterans of all ages. OAP’s mission is to fortify existing services, not to replace them, and to act as advocates when appropriate. Their website is operationamericanpatriot.org.

The national Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team represents some of our nation’s bravest and most determined heroes, soldiers and veterans. These young, extremely athletic men have sustained severe injuries resulting in amputation while serving in the military/war, and through extensive rehabilitation, they have become competitive athletes again. Their armor now includes prosthetic legs and arms, along with extreme perseverance and attitude. Together they tour the country and comprise the national Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. Their website is woundedwarrioramputeesoftballteam.org.

Tickets are $7.00 and are available online at www.wesalute.net or at the Salt River Fields box office. WW2 Veterans are free and children 12 and under are free in the outfield grass areas.
