Launch Your Tomorrow to be Featured on Close-Up Talk Radio
It’s about creating a vision that honors who you are and who you are going to be.
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, USA, October 6, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Life is a series of transitions. For many young adults, the transition from high school to college is their very first big one. If you can remember what it was like to apply for college all those years ago before you became a parent, the experience has only become more fraught with anxiety. — Julie Aulava
Julie Aulava and Melissa Larson are professional coaches and the founders of Launch Your Tomorrow, a coaching program that focuses on people in transition, specifically young adults transitioning from high school to college or from college to their professional adult life. Launch Your Tomorrow provides both support and encouragement, empowering young adults to take advantage of this stage in their lives and use it as the launching point to create the life they want to live.
“Everybody we coach has the ability to do whatever they want to do,” says Melissa. “We’re here to acknowledge the anxiety, normalize it, and figure out what we’re going to do next. When you’re at your best, you are the best person to decide what the right next step is for you.”
The process of deciding one’s future can be overwhelming for both the student as well as the parents. Launch Your Tomorrow offers students an opportunity to work through this process with someone who is not their parents or in their family. If the student embraces the process, it allows the parents to step out of their anxiety and be the loving, supportive parents they want to be.
“If I had a Launch Your Tomorrow when my son was making these decisions, we would have done it with so much more grace and more fun,” says Melissa. “Our program encourages open communication and more thoughtful planning so the student can really enjoy their senior year with a sense of confidence for where they’re going and what they’re going to do.”
With Melissa and Julie’s support and guidance, students will not only be able to make that first transition in a way that benefits them but they’ll have had success and experience they can build on for the transitions to come, including what to do after they graduate college. Launch Your Tomorrow’s program gets these students moving in a direction that excites them so they’re engaged with the world.
“Ultimately, we want to get our program out to as many young adults as possible so they can have access to a different way of transitioning that empowers them,” says Julie. “It’s about creating a vision that honors who you are and who you are going to be.”
Close-Up Talk Radio will feature Julie Aulava and Melissa Larson of Launch Your Tomorrow in a two-part interview with Doug Llewelyn on October 8th and October 15th at 4pm EST.
