The three-day event will address how to harness the significant potential of GIS analysis to improve efficiencies in development planning, resource management and scientific investigations.

The forum is officially supported by Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC), the government entity leading national geospatial capabilities, and is designed to bring together regional and international stakeholders to discuss future GIS strategies.

The conference, hosted by Technology IQ – a division of global events company IQPC – will enable stakeholders to progress the development of GIS in the region. Discussions will address the key challenges, including how to quantify the ROI of GIS projects, win stakeholder buy-in and utilise new data capture and analysis technology.
