FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - June 5, 2014 - Eillien's Candies, Inc. is voluntarily recalling Dark Old Fashioned Sponge Candy because the product contains undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
This recall affects all dates and all products listed below with a Best By date prior to June 1st, 2015. (06-01-15)

The voluntary recall was initiated after one reported illness. It was discovered that the milk-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not declare the presence of milk. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by an oversight in the labeling process.
Consumers with recalled product should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact Eillien's Candies, Inc. at 920-336-7549 between the hours of 8am- 4pm. Monday thru Friday, central time.
