A400M – The New Asset In Disaster Relief Missions
Airbus Group, along with the Airbus Corporate Foundation and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), today highlighted the important role that the A400M airlifter can play in humanitarian missions.
After a briefing by experts, Airbus Group showed journalists an exhibit explaining the advantages the aircraft would bring to relief organisations in the immediate aftermath of humanitarian disasters. The A400M formed part of a static display together with German Red Cross and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) vehicles.
