Gazprom Neft “Native Cities” program sees two major sports facilities opened in Yamal
23 December 2013, press releaseGazprom Nefts Home Towns corporate social responsibility (CSR) program has seen the opening oftwo major sports facilities inthe Yamal Peninsula. Opened inDecember 2013 the two Zenit Sports Centers, inthe Vyngapurovsky district, Noyabrsk, and the village ofKhanymey, Purovsky district, have multifunctional team sports facilities, training rooms, modern locker rooms and showers, and boast the latest incutting-edge equipment.
The first (and largest) ofthe Gazprom Neft-sponsored Zenit sport centers was opened inNoyabrsk in2012. Named after the renowned Russian football player and coach, the Yuri Morozov Zenit Sports Arena can beeasily converted into aconcert orconference hall, and has quickly become established asthe leading sports and events venue inNoyabrsk.
