According to the latest report, the investment in startup software companies has rose up a great deal since the third quarter from last year. The number of deals has also risen approxamently 8 percent.
The software industry's funding accounted for the largest chunk of the total and marked a signifcant percent jump from a year ago. It is also the first time that the software industry has made such a jump in about a decade.
