“Chef Doug’s Gourmet Foods” Launches Next Phase

Local businessman and Gourmet Chef Douglas Johannes, from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, is Kickstarting his Gourmet Food business with an online campaign to secure a permanent kitchen.

This kitchen venture will be the new home for “Chef Doug’s Gourmet Foods”, a business that includes Personal Catering Services, a Mobile Food Truck and a full line of Gourmet Take-Home Products. Chef Doug’s Gourmet Food Products are high quality, made with local ingredients sourced from small family farms throughout the region.

Chef Douglas Johannes comes from a long line of restaurateurs, and has provided catering services to a variety of distinguished clients (including the Governor of the Virgin Islands, senators and more). He is a cum lade Culinary Arts graduate of the world-renowned Johnson and Wales University, where he started his career with a simple plan: to develop his special New Wave Caribbean Cuisine and infuse it with the southern tradition of the Bluegrass State.
