Gazprom Neft launches production of eco-friendly motor oils

Gazprom Neft’s oil business operator, Gazpromneft Lubricants, has launched anew line ofG-Energy and G-Profi premium-class motor oils with improved environmental characteristics. The Low SAPS* (Low Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur) technology used toproduce the oils protects the engine parts and reduces exhaust gas toxicity.

The efficient mix ofadditives used inLow SAPS oils produced byGazpromneft Lubricants has atotally different chemical composition than the traditional additives which include sulphur and phosphorus compounds toprotect the engine parts. Because Low SAPS oils have avery low content ofthese substances, they ensure that oil isfed toall the engine units even atthe cold start stage and protect the engine from wear and tear and formation ofdeposits.

The G-Energy Service Line R5W −30, G-Profi GTLA10W-40 and G-Profi MSJ 5W-30 oils for petrol, diesel and gas fueled engines meet environmental grades from Euro-4 toEuro-6 and the requirements ofthe leading international producers.

The synthetic G-Energy Service Line R5W-30 oil isintended for petrol and diesel engines ensuring their operation under any conditions. The universal synthetic oil G-Profi GTLA10W-40is specially designed for commercial diesel and compressed natural gas engines with exhaust control systems. The G-Profi MSJ 5W-30is intended for buses, long-distance rigs, off-road, construction and agricultural vehicles fitted with exhaust emission control systems. Itisrecommended for engines running ondiesel, compressed natural gas and LPG.
