Biomoda, Inc. (Pink Sheets: BMOD) today filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico. The Company also filed for additional authorizations routinely found in first-day motions and expects in the near future to file its plan of reorganization and related disclosure statement. The Company entered into certain financing facilities, subject to court approval, that will provide the Company with new liquidity permitting it to maintain normal operations and allow the Company and its creditors to jointly plan for the future.
