The closing date is 10 May 2013 and shortlisted companies will be announced in July. The entries will all be judged by an independent panel of industry experts and the winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony at Vinopolis, in London on 14 November.
This year's categories are:
Company categories:
- Innovation
- Community Partner
- Good Employer
- Exporter of the Year
- Environmental Leadership
- Health and Wellbeing Champion
- Growth Business
- Education Initiative
The popular Apprentice of the Year category will also be joined by new individual categories for scientists and engineers.
Food and Drink Federation's Economics and Commercial Director Steve Barnes said:
“The FDF awards are an important opportunity to recognise the positive impact food and drink businesses have made across the country. It is a badge of excellence and celebrates that a company is best in class, despite dealing with a competitive industry."
“Our work on skills shows us how many talented, dedicated people there are working in food and drink which has inspired a number of new individual categories, so you can nominate colleagues who are high achievers and real ambassadors for our industry.”
