According to reports, the "Unlock-iPhone.org" team has completed the unlock and untethered jailbreak baseband of Apple's iOS 6.0 mobile operating system, version 6.0, for the iPhone 4, the 3GS, the iPod Touch 4G and the iPad 1. Previously, david had dispatched his jailbreak project to Unlock-iPhone.org-team. While the Unlock-iPhone.org-team have put 6.0 untethered jailbreak in to "Unlock-iPhone.org", the team, on the other hand, have put untethered jailbreak iPhone 4/4S/3GS iOS 6.0 and unlock iPhone 4/4s iOS 6.0 into a "Cydia" package.
The new iOS 6 jailbreak and unlock update features a couple of new key improvements - the use now can no longer point the older firmware like in earlier version of the Unlock-iPhone.org, meaning the download of the firmware now is not required anymore and Unlock-iPhone.org now is offering complete unlock and/or untethered jailbreak that support's iphone 4/4S/3Gs iOS 6.
It has been nearly eight weeks since the first declaration by dave that he had found a bug that he believed could provide an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.0.
