New Executive Team of Bassaka Air

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA, September 15, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Today, BASSAKA AIR announces a new Executive Team to take the company forward. The new team includes Mr. Mark Thibault as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Loon Weng Cheun as Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Mr. Andrew Stephen as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Mark Thibault’s professional career spans more than thirty-five years, starting as a Plane Captain and Engineering Supervisor in the US Marine Corps. Thibault brings with him over two decades of aviation experience in Asia. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, an MBA in International Business, an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license with Inspector Authorization, and a pilot’s license with land and seaplane ratings. Thibault’s dedication to providing impeccable customer service coupled with strong leadership skills will be instrumental in the growth of Bassaka Air in the region.

Captain Loon’s aviation career began as a Pilot Officer in the Royal Military College nearly fifty years ago. Captain Loon has spent the last twenty-five years in the airline industry gaining over 16,000 flight hours on a wide-range of aircraft. Captain Loon’s extensive knowledge of flight safety, security, and operations will be crucial to the expansion of the Bassaka Air fleet.

Andy Stephen’s passion for aviation began while still attending university in Scotland. Now, after more than forty years of global airline leadership and operations experience, he is qualified to consult across a wide array of disciplines supporting airline expansion. Stephen’s expertise ranges from pre-AOC planning, re-organizations, leadership, commercial planning and alliance negotiations.
