EIN Presswire is not part of Cision/PR Newswire. We are similar to them in that we publish and distribute press releases, but we have our own proprietary and unique distribution platform which we consider superior in various important ways.

The EIN Presswire service is operated by Newsmatics Inc. (previously IPD Group, Inc.), an independent privately-held company registered in the United States. Newsmatics was founded in 1995.

2. Distribution

The answer is simple - return on your investment. With EIN Presswire you can reach millions of people in minutes, and stay visible in search for years to come with market-disrupting pricing.

Unlike our competitors, EIN Presswire has a more diverse proprietary distribution footprint. We reach journalists, businesses, and industry professionals in more innovative and effective ways.

You will have access to distribution into Google News, AP News, the National Law Review, U.S. TV affiliate sites (NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, CW), Bloomberg Terminals, MuckRack, Crunchbase, world-leading newswires, 3,900+ Affinity Group Publications, and much more. Your press release will be reprinted on an ever-growing list of highly search-engine-visible industry and country-relevant third-party publisher sites, as well as EIN Presswire's publications.

EIN Presswire distributes releases worldwide via AP News, 3,900+ news sites covering every country in the world and dozens of industry verticals, as well as direct contact with journalists using our World Media Directory. You’ll get picked up by TV and radio stations throughout the US, distributed through our country and industry newswires, and fed into news databases such as Bloomberg Terminals, MuckRack, etc. We are also a Google News publisher - a gateway to reach billions of people.

EIN Presswire targets your press releases to specific states in the US using the location you specify when creating a press release. We have lists of local media based on each state. We also operate newswires for every U.S. state to help deepen your reach in the market.

EIN Presswire provides targeted distribution based on the country selection. When targeting the United States, you will also receive additional state-specific distribution based on the state listed in your byline.

To target a specific US State with a press release, you will need to select the United States as your country target. Then, list the desired "target" state within the location section of the press release submission form.

Yes, EIN Presswire distributes worldwide. Our UK media distribution list is here. We also operate a UK Newswire and work with local publishers. To see other countries we distribute to, visit our World Media Directory and our world newswires.

We do feed into Bloomberg Terminals, but this will not be enough to meet SEC publicly traded company financial disclosure requirements. To get your news into Yahoo Finance you need to use PR Newswire, GlobeNewswire, or Business Wire. Yahoo Finance is an expensive pay-to-play distribution point and has solid value for publicly traded companies needing to meet financial disclosure requirements. However, for SMBs/SMEs, the associated cost versus impact and engagement is minimal, creating a poor ROI.

We guarantee that your releases will be published on the distribution networks that we control and go out through gateway services such as Google News, AP News, and on major network TV and radio websites such as NBC, CBS, Fox, etc., for republishing.

Through the EIN Presswire World Media Directory, we reach journalists and editorial desks throughout the world.

Through EIN Presswire you can increase your:

  • Search engine rank
  • Brand visibility
  • Online presence
  • Company's positive image in the market
  • Positioning as an expert in your industry niche

Most journalists use the same tools that you have available to monitor topics. For example, Google News Alerts are an important resource, and your press release can be available in that source.

AP News does not accept non-English language press releases.

Most US TV stations such as NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, and CW, are IP-locked to US IP addresses. This means that if you are located outside of the US, you might not be able to see your release unless using a VPN.

EIN Presswire distributes press releases in all languages. Simply target your desired audience when you create your press release.

The section on acceptable and unacceptable content is located in the Editorial Guidelines. Please also see the General Terms & Conditions for further info.

Yes, but it depends on whether the release is associated with a law firm or not, as well as the specific topic. For legal cases, we require a law firm email to be listed on the client's EIN Presswire account or some other compelling explanation as to why it can’t be provided. (If the release cannot be distributed, we will issue a refund.)

We require full transparency. You should use a company email address and full contact details. Preferably, you should have your law firm's contact details on the release. We might call them.

Please see Section 3 of the Editorial Guidelines for more info.

Sorry, we don’t, but we do have thousands of good examples from our clients on our website. In addition, we've launched a free AI-powered press release generator. The generator allows professionals like you to save time and money by automatically generating a draft press release in as little as 10 seconds. All you need to provide is a few descriptive keywords. The drafts are generated in the best possible English. Clients can then proofread and modify the text to their liking before posting the press release.

To create a release using the AI-powered press release generator, go to: https://www.einpresswire.com/ai/press-release-generator

They love our service! We’re simple and easy to use and offer great value at affordable pricing. See some of our client testimonials here.

To optimize your online presence, you should participate in more news cycles. Many of our clients issue a release once a month. This offers them an opportunity to communicate more often with the world and to build high-quality backlinks to their websites. Our Pro+ Bundle provides you with 5 press release distribution credits for one low price. Think of press releases as extended social media posts. You have a headline and small update on any topic, and then attach your company or client boilerplate and contact details. Press releases do not need to be issued only for monumental announcements. They can be used for your ongoing marketing communications.

Yes. Go to the My Press Releases page and look for the RSS icon.

We have provided you with links to share. You can find them on the My Press Releases page. In the Share section, you will find your permalink and links to share your release on social media platforms.

3. Pricing

Please visit our Pricing and Comparison page or Pricing Overview PDF. Pricing ranges from $50-$149 per release. If you are interested in larger bulk packages or white labeling, please contact us.

You’ll need to set up a free account. You can then pay by credit card or PayPal and the press release credits will be immediately applied to your account. If you already have an account and are logged in, please go to the My Press Releases page and click the link to buy press releases.

If you don’t have an account, please visit our Pricing and Comparison page and click the Get Started button.

No. EIN Presswire is a pay-as-you-go service, and we don’t require you to sign an annual contract or maintain a subscription. Use any press release credits within 12 months of the date of purchase. You can use them all immediately if you wish or over time. Simply buy more credits when you’re ready.

We like to say we get you 90% of where you need to go at 10% of the cost. You are not subsidizing other parts of our business. We have many clients worldwide both large and small just like you.

Some key points:

  • We are a market disruptor with staff in Washington DC, Europe, and Asia, and a 30-year operating history.
  • We are privately held, without large shareholders. Because we retain our independence, we can focus on building the best service for our clients.
  • Our competition has to pay for distribution that we do not have to. We build our distribution partnerships organically through the intrinsic value we provide, so we don't have to pass exorbitant distribution fees down to our clients.
  • We are not oriented around public market financial disclosures, so we don’t pay for Yahoo Finance, for example. These fees are very expensive and are passed onto clients.
  • We don’t prioritize analytics that are costly to produce and often too easily manipulated. We focus on transparent distribution reporting. See here for an example report.

This depends on how much news you will have to share over the next year. The main differences between our packages are the number of press release credits included (bundling with larger packages allows you to save money per press release) and the number of targets and features you can use. All packages are valid for 365 days after the date of purchase, and all features are per press release credit. Please visit our Pricing and Comparison page for more details.

Certainly. Please contact us through the contact form and we can get you upgraded.

Press release credits are valid for one year (365 days) from the date of purchase, but can be easily rolled over into a new purchase of the same level or higher for another year. You can check the time remaining for your credits on the My Press Releases page. To renew your package, simply make your purchase from the Pricing page.

We offer simple, transparent pricing options with no surprises. Images are included with all of our releases. Please see our Pricing and Comparison page for more information.

Invoices for your orders can be found on the My Invoices page.

Refunds are available if the package was purchased within the last 60 days and less than 25% of the credits were used. Refunds will be prorated depending on the remaining credits. Please contact us through the contact form if you wish to discuss a refund.

4. Account

Please visit our Pricing and Comparison page and select the option that’s best for you. You can check out our useful tutorial videos which walk you through the process.

Not a problem. Please go to the Request New Password page and follow the instructions to create a new one.

Please first try to find the email we sent you when you signed up. If you do not have one, please email us through our contact form and provide any information that will help us identify your account, such as the title of a press release you have previously issued through us.

Yes, they can, but only one email address can be associated with each account. You'll need to share the account log-in credentials with them.

The Newsroom feature is a dedicated page on EIN Presswire, branded with your logo, where all of your press releases will be displayed, along with other information about your company or organization. Newsrooms will have a unique URL that you can refer people to in your marketing materials. It’s also great for your SEO.

Please visit the My Newsroom Set Up & Use Guide for further details.

You can activate your Newsroom from the My Newsroom page. Look for the “activate” link. Please visit the My Newsroom Set Up & Use Guide for further details.

Yes. All accounts can set up a Newsroom. Go to the My Newsroom page to get started.

5. The submission process: How it works

We only accept press release submissions through the website. It takes just a few simple steps to prepare your release: create a draft, preview the release, and choose your distribution targets. Once you've created an account, click on the blue Send New Press Release button and then follow the instructions. The form will guide you through the submission process.

You can always prepare a draft and save it to work on later, or share it with colleagues through the Shareable Preview link on the My Press Releases page. Please watch our short tutorial video.

You may save a press release as a draft and return to it at any time to edit it. If you've already submitted your release, but it has not yet been reviewed or distributed, you can revert it back to draft to make further changes. You'll find the Revert to Draft link under the Actions section on the My Press Releases page. Once you're happy with your changes, you can then submit the release again for review.

Yes, we can. If the release has already been distributed, we can edit it, and the edits will appear on the versions we can control through our own network. Just send us an email through the contact form with the title of the release and specify the changes needed.

If the release has not yet been distributed and is pending review or is scheduled, all you need to do is go to the My Press Releases page and revert it to draft. You may then make your edits and resubmit the release for review.

We may review press releases before distribution to confirm they meet the Editorial Guidelines and comply with the General Terms and Conditions. This review, when it occurs, helps ensure that the content is trustworthy, validated, newsworthy, and appropriate for all audiences. We may reach out for more information or clarification, so please keep an eye on your inbox. While we do not provide full copy editing, we're happy to make factual or technical corrections upon request. Please note that review is at our discretion and not guaranteed, and you remain responsible for the accuracy and compliance of your content.

To help maintain the integrity of our platform and distribution network, we may verify customer accounts before publishing a press release. This process can take up to two business days. We may also review an existing customer's account at any time. As part of this process, we may confirm that the customer submitting the release is directly associated with, or authorized to speak on behalf of, the company featured in the press release, and we may review companies mentioned within a release. Our content moderators may request additional information from you, so please monitor your inbox for any messages from us.

6. PR formatting

You may use up to 700 words with a Basic release, 1,000 words with a Pro+ release, and 2,500 words with a Corporate release. Please refer to the Pricing page for a comprehensive overview of the features included with each package.

We do not currently carry this capability. All press releases must be submitted through the submission form, which can be opened by clicking the blue Submit Release button located in the top right corner of the website when you are logged in to your account.

You can use any location, but please keep in mind that the location you choose may impact your distribution. We recommend choosing a location that best matches the content of your press release or the desired audience. Only one location can be selected for your byline.

Your account information does not necessarily need to be the same as the contact information you provide on your press releases. The account information should reflect yourself and your company. If you are an agency representing multiple clients, your press release contact information can be customized to reflect your client.

There are three areas where you can update contact information: your account, your Newsroom, and the press release contact section. Edit your account information here. Edit your Newsroom information here. Please click here to visit your press release contact library, where you can save contact information for reuse on press releases.

The submission form currently allows you to enter only one contact. However, you can add additional contacts directly to the body of the press release if needed.

The title should be a maximum of 120 characters, but we recommend a maximum of 80 characters. Please do not use all capital letters. It is best practice to capitalize the first letter of every word, except for prepositions and articles of three characters or fewer. Do not use exclamation marks ("!") or question marks ("?") unless it is part of the name of the company or service. You also do not need to add a period at the end of titles. To avoid issues with Google search, please use single quotation marks (') instead of double quotation marks (").

This is an optional field. If you don't fill it in, the original title will be used. If you want to add hashtags and/or other X meta tags, please make a custom title.

The characters available in an X title are limited by the X character count of 280 and the included link of your press release. On average, clients will have access to ~200 characters.

Yes, we provide three easy-to-use keyword anchor text link fields (maximum 75 characters) in the press release submission form for you to add hyperlinks. To create a keyword anchor text link, which turns text into a hyperlink, type a keyword or phrase exactly as it appears in the press release into the keyword field. Then, copy the URL you want that text to link to in the URL field.

If the link isn’t working, it’s either: 1) the keyword or phrase doesn’t match exactly with the press release, or 2) the URL isn't correct. Try deleting both fields, then copy and paste the keyword or phrase from the body of the release, and then copy and paste the URL. If you are still having trouble, please feel free to reach out for assistance.

You may also add additional links directly within the body of your release. Best practice would be to use only 3 links to preserve their SEO value.

You can use a maximum of three keyword anchor text links in your press release. This number is based on best practices, which we follow for search engine optimization. However, you can add more URLs directly in the body of your press release if you choose. We recommend no more than 10 total links per press release.

We are a Google News provider and must follow Google's guidelines to maintain this status. Based on these guidelines, EIN Presswire only allows for no-follow links in press releases. By using no-follow links, we can ensure that your release will show up quickly in Google search and Google News, and that your backlinks will still retain value.

You can read more about Google’s stance on no-follow links from publishers here on the Google Support Forums: https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2019/09/evolving-nofollow-new-ways-to-identify

That error is related to the Embedded Website feature, found in your press release draft. This feature will only work for sites that have security certificates (HTTPS) and that do not specifically block framing. Please check with your webmaster or ISP to see if framing can be enabled for your website, or use this quick test to check your website's compatibility with framing. Alternatively, you can remove the link from the Embedded Website section of your press release draft, which will remove the gray box.

If the text in the keyword box does not exactly match the text in the body of the release, this feature will not work. Please make sure you copy the keyword directly from the body of your release to avoid this problem. A valid URL is also required. Please keep in mind that the hyperlink will only show on the first occurrence of the matching text, and the same keyword cannot be used more than once.

Unfortunately not. EIN Presswire keeps formatting options to a minimum to ensure smooth distribution to our partners, who may re-publish your press releases but may not support specialized formatting. Keeping it simple reduces the chance that your releases will be poorly formatted on third party sites.

The Embedded Quote feature allows you to highlight a specific quote from your press release for extra emphasis and aesthetics. The maximum number of characters for the text of the quote is 200. The field for the author of the quote allows for 75 characters. Please enter the text of the quote without quotation marks. You'll be able to see what the quote looks like on the preview page.

Yes. The number of images you can add will depend on your package. You can add images to your press release by choosing an image from your Image Library. They are easy to uploadsimply click the upload link and follow the prompts to add your file. You can also add a caption and alt text, but these are optional.

By uploading images or video for use with your press release, you agree that you have permission to use them.

  • Supported file types: JPG, PNG, or GIF.
  • Recommended image size: 1200×628 px.
  • Maximum image size: 4096×4096 px.
  • Maximum image file size: 5 MB.

The image caption limit is 270 characters.

Yes, please contact us through the contact form and indicate the release title, the name of the image that needs to be changed/deleted, and the name of the new image if needed for replacement. Please make sure the new image is uploaded to your Image Library.

Yes, you can. You may embed one video on each release, and this feature is included at no extra cost with all of our packages. Please provide the link for the video in the field provided on the submission form, and make sure that the video is from YouTube, Vimeo, or Kickstarter. We do not currently offer support for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks, or other video platforms.

By uploading images or video for use with your press release, you agree that you have permission to use them.

Yes. Please make sure that you are only using links to websites that have a security certificate, which means that they must be HTTPS. Furthermore, some sites contain “do-not-frame” (X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN) instructions in the coding. On the submission form, you will find a quick test that will tell you whether your website is compatible with the Embedded Website feature. If you have any difficulties, please check with your webmaster or contact us.

Yes, you can. Please follow these instructions, which are also provided within the draft form for your convenience:

  1. Go to google.com/maps and type in your Google My Business listing name. (Search for your exact listing name, not your business address.)
  2. When the map appears, click on the "Share" icon.
  3. Select the "Embed a map" on the Share window.
  4. Click on "Copy HTML."
  5. Paste the provided code into the "Embedded Google My Business Map" section of your draft.

7. PR timing/scheduling

For all new customers, there is a one-time account verification check that begins when you submit your first press release. The verification check may take up to two business days.

After the check is complete, and for existing customers, it generally takes about two hours to review your release prior to distribution. Press releases are reviewed during business hours.

Content moderators focus on the account information you’ve provided AND the content. Details matter. They look for sufficient information to identify you as the authorized person to submit the release and whether or not the content is suitable for distribution according to the Editorial Guidelines. We may reach out for more information or clarification, so please keep an eye on your inbox.

Yes, you can. All press releases issued through EIN Presswire allow scheduling when filling out the press release submission form.

EIN Presswire’s current policy is to keep press releases hosted indefinitely on the publishing platforms we control.

Yes, you may use the same release. However, we suggest you adjust the wording in the headline and the first paragraph so that it is not flagged as a duplicate in search engines.

Yes, you can, but you must modify the title of the press release and the initial paragraph of the press release before resubmitting it for review to avoid having the release tagged as duplicate content by news aggregators and search engines. Many companies often use a boilerplate in the body of their releases describing their company and services and simply write a new title and introductory paragraphs with a current message.

Example of title changes:

  1. Canadian Global Café Chain Introduces Winter Wonders to Malaysia
  2. Canadian Global Café Chain Brings Winter Wonders to Thailand
  3. Zimbabwe Can Now Experience Winter Wonders Thanks to Canadian Global Café Chain

8. Reporting

You will receive email notifications throughout the submission and review process, so please keep an eye on your inbox. The My Press Releases page will also show you the status of all your releases. It’s also where you will find your distribution reports.

Yes, they’re available on the My Press Releases page, and we email them to you approximately two to four hours after your press release is distributed. We focus on the metrics that really matter—where your release is delivered, the syndication points, and how it's showing up in search, rather than numbers that can be misleading or unreliable. See a sample report here.

Distribution reports are available within two to four hours after publishing/distribution. They can be found on the My Press Releases page and will be emailed to you once they're ready.

Yes, please click here to see a sample distribution report from a real EIN Presswire client. We update the sample distribution report on a regular basis.

Social media sharing links are available only after your press release has been distributed. They will be available on the My Press Releases page.

Please go to the My Press Releases page. There is a permalink for each of your distributed press releases provided under the Share section.

9. Deleting press releases

Yes, this can be done from the My Press Releases page, but the process depends on the status of the press release.

Deleting a release that is saved as a draft, under review, or scheduled: You may simply click the delete link associated with your draft. It’s removed and no credit is used.

Deleting a release that has been distributed: You may simply click the delete link associated with your release. This will remove the release from EIN Presswire and the distribution network that we control.
