Argument over counterfeit leads to fatal accident

Fort Worth, TX – An argument purportedly involving a fake $100 bill has been linked to a vehicle accident that killed one person last week. As reported by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the accident between a semi truck and a van occurred after 60-year-old James Dale Morgan attempted to get away from a police officer who was approaching to question him about allegedly giving someone a counterfeit bill.
Morgan is stated to have fled in a semi and hit a van killing 58-year-old Ming-Yueh Bixler of Haltom City and injuring her husband before colliding into a garage.
Bambi Bridges, who lives in the area where the wreck occurred is quoted in the report as stating of the accident, “We saw smoke… The semi had knocked the garage down. We couldn't even tell there was a van there.”
Morgan is reportedly facing several charges in connection with the accident including intoxication manslaughter.
