On May 14, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-06) toured the new addition to the St. Cloud Hospital during its grand opening. 

“The St. Cloud Hospital provides an outstanding service to the tri-county area, and has for generations,” said Bachmann. “This exciting expansion will meet 21st Century needs well into the future. I am pleased that the innovative care at the St. Cloud Hospital, from leading experts in the medical field, will serve thousands more in the region.”

The St. Cloud Hospital first opened in 1926, and the new construction began in 2007. Once opened, it will feature a 10-floor, 360,000 square foot expansion. Included in this expansion will be a larger ICU, a Family Birthing Center and multiple floors of private rooms.

The new wing will be open to patients later this summer.
