Production and distribution of Yoplait to continue and grow across Canada

GRANBY, Quebec – Yoplait and Ultima Foods announced today they have successfully reached an agreement that amicably resolves questions between the two companies.

Ultima Foods, a joint venture of the two largest dairy cooperatives in Canada, Agropur and Agrifoods International, agreed to produce Yoplait brand products for General Mills Canada in Ultima’s Granby, Quebec plant. General Mills Canada will market, distribute and sell Yoplait brand products across Canada. “Yoplait is a brand leader in Canada, with a long history of quality and innovation,” said Dave Homer, President, General Mills Canada. “General Mills Canada is proud to continue this tradition. We will leverage Yoplait’s global innovation pipeline to bring new offerings to the marketplace that will excite Canadian consumers.
