MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (September 9, 2026) – The Berkeley County Commission is accepting offers from private parties to purchase two county-owned properties. 

The minimum acceptable offer for a 4.25-acre parcel adjacent to 3095 Cannon Hill Road in the Hedgesville, W.Va., area is $8,100. The minimum acceptable offer for a .600-acre parcel at the corner of Land Back Lane and Nestle Quarry Road (across from 1521 Nestle Quarry Road) is $1,650.

Offers to purchase either parcel must be submitted by 4 PM on Sept. 30. Interested parties may drop-off or mail offers to 400 W. Stephen St., Suite 201, Martinsburg or email a completed property offer form to propertysales@berkeleywv.org.

All offers received will be reviewed during the Oct. 1 meeting of the Berkeley County Commission. An accepted offer will be approved during the Oct. 8 meeting of the County Commission.
