Invasive Plant Spraying at White Marsh Park
Invasive Plant Spraying at White Marsh Park
The meadows at White Marsh Park are scheduled to be treated with herbicide beginning around Friday, August 28, through September 6.
This work is highly dependent on weather conditions, including wind, rain and ground conditions, so the treatment schedule may change.
Herbicide will be applied by spraying designated meadow areas. During treatment, hikers and other park visitors are asked to remain strictly on designated trails and paths and closely supervise children and pets.
Once the herbicide has dried, the treated areas pose no threat to people or pets.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this important maintenance is completed to help manage invasive plants and maintain the park.
