Bridge 8085 on Superman Canyon Road is temporarily closed. On the morning of Friday, August 21st, a semi-truck attempted to cross the bridge, which has a weight limit of five tons. The truck became stuck and required a wrecker to help get off the bridge, causing severe damage in the process. After an inspection by state officials, the bridge was closed until further notice. 

The bridge was scheduled to be replaced by McKinley County in October, with funding and agreements already in place. Once final approval is given to proceed with replacement, County officials expect bridge to be out of commission for four months.
