Pennsylvania – Two teens who were sunbathing on a rural Pennsylvania road were injured after being struck by a passing vehicle. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the 13-year-old girls fell asleep while sunbathing and were subsequently hit by a 19 year-old driver on Sunday afternoon.
The driver was reportedly the cousin of one of the girls, whose sisters told reporters that he had made a stop at a stop sign prior to turning and hitting 13-year-olds.
As noted in the report, the girls were taken to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and have been listed in fair condition.
