At the request of the State of Washington, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been assigned by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to survey, remove, and dispose of household hazardous materials from properties burned by wildfires in Spokane County. This process will be happening starting next week.

You are strongly encouraged to participate in this cleanup effort. Taking part will help ensure hazardous materials are removed safely and efficiently, reducing risks to you, your property, and your community.
