Temporary Lane Restrictions at Bay Loop Road Intersection

Walton County, FL, 08/11/26 – Walton County Public Works will begin drainage improvements at the intersection of Red Barn Road and County Highway 83A West (Bay Loop Road) beginning Monday, August 17, 2026, at 8 a.m.

During construction, traffic will be restricted to one lane through the work area. Motorists should expect delays and use caution when traveling near the construction zone. Taunton Road is available as an alternate route for motorists wishing to avoid the work area.

The traffic restriction will remain in effect until construction is completed. The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Walton County appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while these necessary drainage improvements are completed.
