Evacuation Level Updates 08-09-2026

Evacuation levels have been significantly downgraded and will be updated daily.  Look over the map and you’ll see areas where folks can return home.  Avista has restored electricity, but everything’s probably spoiled in the fridge and freezer.  Smoke detectors may have been going off and you’ll need new batteries, clean/replace all air filters, and run all the faucets for several minutes to make sure they’re clean.  Anyone with a private well should go to the Spokane Regional Health District’s website for more information: Spokane Regional Health District | Spokane Regional Health District

In addition, the Disaster Assistance Center at Shadle Park H.S. will continue to serve the public through Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
