CRASH INJURIES ONE
JEROME COUNTY, IDAHO – Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash that occurred at approximately 3:41 p.m. on August 8, 2026, at 100 E 200 S, Jerome County.
A 2024 Dodge Ram, driven by a 49-year-old male from Jerome, was traveling north on 100 East when the pickup struck a 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle, ridden by a 57-year-old male also from Jerome. The motorcycle was traveling west on 200 South.
The rider of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet and sustained critical injuries. He was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital. The driver of the Dodge Ram was wearing a seatbelt and did not receive any injuries.
Idaho State Police was assisted by Jerome County Sheriff’s Office, Jerome City Police Department, Jerome City Fire Department, Magic Valley Paramedics and Air St. Lukes EMS.
The intersection was closed for approximately 3 hours.
The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
