Former Town Councillor Christopher Newman of Accomac, was featured in a story in the Eastern Shore Post this week, on the occasion of the visit of His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla to Virginia.

Pictured here, Christopher holds a copy of a letter he wrote to the British royal family in 2022 upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II. To Christopher’s great surprise, a return letter arrived several months later postmarked Buckingham Palace.
