Today, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) announced that some Medicaid members receiving benefits from the state's Supplemental Security Income program had letters with personal and private information regarding an increase in their benefits sent out to their outdated addresses.

After discovering what happened on April 30, 2026, DHS immediately identified the affected individuals and halted all future mailing to the incorrect addresses.

These members have been offered free credit monitoring for one year as well as given access to a dedicated call center to answer questions they might have.

Members who received a notification letter or have questions about this incident, can call 833-857-0804 from 8:00a a.m. to 8 p.m. CT Monday through Friday.
